"Chumak" launched a new factory for the production of pasta in the Kherson region
JSC Chumak, the largest national food manufacturer, launched a new factory for the production of pasta in the city Kakhovka (Kherson region). Reported the press office of the company, reports Agency "RBK-Ukraine".
According to the report, the company will be made most requested by the Ukrainian consumers kinds of pasta: "Tubules", "Feathers", "Fusilli", "Turtles", "Vermicelli", "Macaroni".
Construction of the factory was started in 2009, investment in the project amounted to 3 million at the moment the factory is fully ready to work. Production capacity of the factory will make 50 tons of pasta per day, or approximately 2 tons per hour.
It is planned that pasta "Chumak" will appear on the shelves of Ukrainian shops in February 2010.
In the assortment of "Chumak" brand pasta appeared in 2006, but so far the production of this product category was made exclusively in Russia.
In the near future JSC Chumak is also planning to manufacture a special line of sauces for pasta.
Information: Chumak was founded in 1996 by two Swedish businessmens, Carl Sturen and Johan Boden. Chumak - one of the nation’s largest food producers, specializing in the processing and sale of products grown in the Kherson region. The company produces ketchup, mayonnaise, sauces, canned vegetables, tomato paste and pasta under the same name brand. The company has a production facility and logistics center in Kakhovka (Kherson region), and also has offices in Kiev, Minsk and Moscow. In Chumak employ about 1 thousand people.
