In Ukraine, 16,3% of meat products did not "fit" in the standards
During the 2009 Superintendent of Public Oversight StateConsumreStandart of Ukraine checked 294.34 tons of fresh and frozen meat, frozen meat semi-finished products during the production totaling more than 5.1 million UAH. Normative documentation requirements (NR) did not meet the 48.17 tons of goods (16.3% tested) totaling 637.3 thousand UAH. As noted, conducted 188 inspections of meat and frozen meat semi-finished products. During the 162 inspections have been established violation of the NR. Violations were found on plants in each region of Ukraine.
As a result of audits of state supervision of StateConsumreStandart of Ukraine during 2009 to the producers of fresh and frozen meat, frozen meat semi-finished products was imposed fines totaling 192.4 thousand UAH.
Concerning the sausages, then during 2009 were tested 57.581 tons of sausage products totaling 2 million 224 thousand UAH. Found a discrepancy 22.995 tons of products (40%), totaling over 658 thousand UAH. Was generally carried out 301 checks, in 259 cases found in violation.
The discovery of violations during inspections sausage products in 2009 producers were fined a total of 274,3 thousand UAH.
