In March and April, sugar prices will decrease, said in the air of 5-th channel Agriculture Minister of Ukraine Mykola Prisyajnyuk.
"Sugar prices in March and April will be reduced. They are reduced, because we started the intervention of sugar cane ", - he said.
The minister said: "Research shows that in the next 5 years, shortage of sugar will rise."
According Prysyazhnyuk, will miss about 200-250 thousand tons of sugar.
"We have a quota obligation of 260 thousand tons of sugar cane bring. And most likely we will have to do some intervention, the 100 thousand white sugar, or to buy in Belarus , or in other countries "- said the official, says Ukrainian Pravda.
