A new grain complex were opened in Odessa ICC - Ministry of Transport informs
A new grain complex were opened in Odessa ICC, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine. Since the beginning of 2009 was built 19 silos and upgraded two hemispheres, which together accommodate 82.5 million tons of grain. Now the complex has already started to take goods in experimental mode: at the opening in the silo was 28 thousand tonnes of grain, barley and canola.
The first shipment of the new elevators will have to ship late August.
Meanwhile, the now completed first phase of construction. In April 2011 plans to open another six silos, and the elevator can simultaneously accept up to 125 thousand tons of grain, and carrying capacity will increase to 2.5 million tons per year.
