There are plans to create the Agrarian Financial Fund in Ukraine
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine initiates creation of Agrarian Financial Fund. On this N.Prisjazhnjuk has informed during press conference, being with a working trip to Vinnitsa.
"We can see that commercial banks are "twisting our hands" very seriousely, and in addition they receive from the state in order to compensate for the interest 1-1,5 billion UAH. annually" - said the minister.
According to him, to date the Ministry has initiated the establishment of Agricultural Finance Fund, which was created in Europe, the Baltic countries, and which works effectively.
" We have now submitted backgrounds, we pass the coordination with the ministries, and I consider, that it is the lever and such tool which will enable for small percent to render the financial assistance to farmers", – N.Prisjazhnjuk has told.
It also has noted, that public facilities will be involved in fund. "The money for these funds will be token from the state, because as a Ministry for today we see clearly that the bulk of the budget should be allocated as follows: 50% will be allocated on a non-repayable basis - is the support of certain industries which are necessary for the state and the second 50 % - is on a returnable basis. The 50% that on a return basis through the allocation of funds for AGROLEASING and agribusiness fund ", - explained the Minister.
