State committee of veterinary medicine of Ukraine revealed 47 cases of non-performance of imported livestock products for 2009

As it became known from the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, during the 2009 State Service of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine held a selective advanced veterinary-sanitary control of imported animal products.

Thus, the results of monitoring revealed 47 cases of non-performance. The main producers of such products are the enterprises of the Federal Republic of Germany, Federal Republic of Brazil, the United States, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Poland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Austria, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and other countries.

It should be noted that the State Service for Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine is conducting a study of imported livestock products only in accredited under ISO 17025 state laboratories.

According to the results of laboratory studies, 9 foreign companies are temporarily prohibited from delivering products to Ukraine and the embassies and the competent authorities of the countries were noticed by relevant messages. This year, during the veterinary-sanitary control and supervision of the state border and transport was held in 2068 under the control of cargo delays.

In addition, disclosure of the facts for road transport of hazardous products of animal origin on the roads in Ukraine has been tested more than 12 thousand cars.

During the audit identified 22,675 violations of the law. K 22224 persons taken administrative influence in the form of fines (total award - 669,476 UAH). Adopted on 5681 prescription for the elimination of the violations. For gross violations of veterinary and sanitary regulations to suspend operations of 742 objects. In the investigative division of internal affairs and prosecutors sent 337 materials.
