European Commissioner are going to check again the Ukrainian producers of poultry meat and eggs - A. Bakumenko
In winter 2010, European Commissioner again checked the Ukrainian producers of poultry meat and eggs, which for the European market will have to comply with the comments made by inspectors earlier. This was reclamed during the "round" table by chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association "Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine" A. Bakumenko.
According to A. Bakumenko: "European Commissioner, who came in summer with a verification visit to Ukraine in order to check a number of Ukrainian meat and eggs, special claims to domestic production did not have.
"There were issues related to harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the European Veterinary. To our businesses were separate small observations. In fact, it very quickly eliminated, and we look forward to January and February of this year’s review. Veterinary Committee has already prepared all the remarks that have been made ", - the chairman of the Union.
Recall that in mid-June 2009 European commissioners have tested a number of Ukrainian enterprises producing poultry meat and eggs and made, according to the chairman Goskomvetmeditsiny P. Verbitsky, only small remarks to Ukrainian standards. Thus, observations of inspectors were mainly non-compliance of individual items of Ukrainian and European regulatory frameworks.
As reported, the Council of Ministers of the EU on agriculture and the protection of consumer rights must take a final decision on the possibility of supply of Ukrainian goods to the EU.
