Ukraine bans imports of ruminants from Morocco and Algeria

State committee of veterinary medicine banned the import of ruminants in to Ukrainian territory from the Kingdom of Morocco and Algeria PDR. This decision is posted on the official web-site.

Thus, according to the official report of the International Epizootic Office, in Morocco were registered bluetongue disease of sheep, and in the territory of Algeria - cattle disease bluetongue.

At the same time, imports from these countries of other goods under the control of the State Service of Veterinary Medicine, should be conducted in accordance with the veterinary requirements for imports into Ukraine of objects of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision.
