Derzhspozhivstandart of Ukraine actively prepares to the leadthrough in Ukraine of final part of championship of Europe of 2012 from football (Euro-2012). About it declared Chairman of Derzhspozhivstandart of Ukraine Larysa LOSYUK on the extended meeting of College of Committee on June, 30. On its words, in September, 2008 the workinggroup of Derzhspozhivstandart of Ukraine was created on questions providing of preparation and leadthrough in Ukraine of final part of championship of Europe of 2012 from football and concertedly the proper plan of measures. According to the plan by the experts is working to improve regulatory and legal framework and procedures for evaluating compliance of hotel infrastructure, monitor quality of service during a championship according to European requirements, provide a permanent interaction with the State concerned ministries and departments, Coordination Bureau on questions of preparation and holding in Ukraine the final part of the 2012 European Cup.
Although the state is not included in the performers a State program for preparation and holding in Ukraine of Euro-2012, and taking into account the need to resolve several issues in the sphere of technical regulation and consumer protection in the context of the finals of the championship, state initiated the development of new standards replacement of existing GATS 4269:2003 services travel. Larissa LOSYUK noted that the state prepared, agreed and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers draft regulations "On approval of the classification category for hotels and similar accommodation. This Committee works closely with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to develop and introduce new state system Categorization hotels and similar accommodation. This is attributed to the priority measures for the construction, reconstruction and upgrading of facilities for accommodation of the participants and guests of the European Championship finals of 2012, approved by Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ¹ 1484-r of 19.11.2008 year. In addition, was organized quarterly Coordinating Bureau on the preparation and holding in Ukraine the finals of Euro 2012 against certified in UkrSEPRO services from temporary accommodation (accommodation), which provides hotels and other accommodation facilities and the assignment of certain categories. Such information is relevant in the development and implementation of the concept of placing the participants and guests of the Championship and will be used to create a database for the specified UEFA operator that will reserve space for participants and guests.
Cabinet of Ministers supported the initiative of Derzhspozhivstandart for his involvement in the preparation and holding in Ukraine the final part of the 2012 European football: Derzhspozhivstandart Representative - First Deputy of Chairman Sergei Dorotycha - included in the Interagency Working Group with the Organizing Committee on preparation and holding in Ukraine the final part UEFA Euro 2012 Cup. Forces of Committee is preparing to audit certification services to improve their skills to the European level, and representatives of regional offices and centers in the cities by the applicant is actively involved in the work of local authorities on preparations for Euro 2012.
