During June 2009 by the territorial authorities of DERZHSPOZHIVSTANDART in matters of protection consumer’s rights tested quality and safety of products in health and recreation facilities for children to a total of 457.5 ths. UAH. Defective and removed from the sales amounting to 122.3 ths. UAH (26.7%). This was stated by the President of DERZHSPOZHIVSTANDART of Ukraine Larisa LOSYUK at a meeting of the Board of June 30. According to her, during June Reviewed 202 state institutions rehabilitation and recreation of children. In 120 of them (over 59%) was found 648 different violations.
During the inspection of quality and safety of food products were found many violations, namely: the lack of regulations, lack of safety controls, non-technological discipline, improper design of accompanying documents on the quality and safety; improper labeling of food products and others. Were established several cases leave children less portions of food, cooking violations technology, use of products without adequate supporting information and documents certifying their quality and safety of others.
To the enterprises violators was issued 101 requirements for removal of failings, made 57 decisions to ban the sale of products that do not meet the requirements of existing laws and regulations. Violation of the requirements of the legislation the administration prosecuted 115 persons were fined for a total of 14.2 thousand UAH. To 59 entities used administrative penalties totaling 34.5 thousand UAH. Materials inspections were given to the state control and oversight, local governments and law enforcement response and application of appropriate measures.
